Welcome to Heartland Farms -
where the Scott family produces grassfed beef and lamb. We are a small, organic, family farm at the northwest border of Ottawa. We use our pastures to transform sunlight into animal protein. Research shows that ruminants fed on pasture - instead of a conventional feedlot diet of grain- produce the most nutrient-rich, whole food available.
Heartland Farms produces safe, ecological meat for our local ‘foodshed’. We farm by organic principles without antibiotics, hormones, animal by-products, chemicals or genetically-modified anything.
